Road Transport: Commission adopts common rules to facilitate enforcement and enhance road safety

European Commission aims at providing common rules for the classification of infringements and safer roads. Thus, EU Commission has adopted common rules to facilitate enforcement and to promote road safety. The common classification will result in all Member States using the same infringements and providing incentives for complying with the EU rules. In addition, new specification for smart tachographs were also adopted, using all the potentials of digital technologies.
