Diesel cars' emissions far higher on road than in lab, tests show

After the Volkswagen scandal UK made several investigations to various vehicle manufacturers, such as Ford, Renault and Vauxhall and the results showed that diesel vehicles are producing far more nitrogen oxide emissions in real-world driving conditions than in the laboratory. This result though, does not mean that these manufacturers are also violating the rules, since the only legal obligation they have at the moment is to pass the laboratory requirement.
