Commission tightens rules for carmakers

After the Volkswagen scandal was revealed in September 2015, the Commission has proposed in January 2016 to tighten the requirements for the EU type approval framework. It should also be ensured that automotive industries comply with them. This is the only way to gain the customer's trust.
