New railway  “Patras – Pyrgos – Kalamata” in the Region of Western Greece

On Sunday 14th of February the Railways Organisation ERGOSE and the Region of Western Greece will present the study for the new railway between Patras, Pyrgos and Kalamata towns. Mr. Athanassios Vourdas, ERGOSE’s CEO, will present the study to the public sector, the local authorities and the general public during the event that will take place in Pyrgos  Ileias. 

 

Mr. Apostolos Katsifaras, the Head of the Region of Western Greece, stated: “the re-opening of the railway line of Patras – Pyrgos – Kalamata, which was closed for several years, is imperative for the transport network of Western Greece, especially for Achaia and Ileia”.
