Low Emissions and Delay Optimization for an Isolated Signalized Intersection Based on Vehicular Trajectories

Traffic emissions contribute a large proportion of the total pollutants in the air of urban cities. The purpose of the study is to establish an effective traffic signal control system that minimizes emissions and traffic. The method, all the parameters, and the equations that are being used for the development of such a system, are discussed analytically in the main section of this study.
