TEN-T Days 2018 in Ljubjana, Slovenia

A ten-t day event took place in Ljubjana in Slovenia on 25-27 April 2018. The event that was supported by European Commissioner for Transport Violeta Bulc, who invited Ministers, Members of the European Parliament and key stakeholders to chat over sustainable transportation, smart and safe public networks and connectivity issues.

A number of speakers and panelists were involved in VIP sessions, parallel sessions, plenary sessions and social events. The topics discussed involved a number of issues, topics and challenging subjects, including, but not limited to the following:

  • The future of transportation services

  • Proposal of alternative fuel markets

  • Safe transportation

  • Improvement of air and sea traffic system

  • Development of e-mobility services

  • Green and clean mobility

  • Digitalization of transportation services information

  • Co-modality and promotion of co-modal transportation

  • Connectivity and efficiency of transportation services

  • Financial issues regarding transportation

In parallel with the above mentioned sessions, an indoor and an outdoor exhibition took place. In the indoor exhibition, about 100 exhibitors presented novel and outstanding transportation solutions. The audience had the opportunity to see future mobility projects in live, such as electric vehicles, alternative fuel vehicles, projects about rail, maritime, air and road transportation. The outdoor exhibition focused on groundbreaking technologies, such as electromobility natural gas and fuel cells/hydrogen. These alternative fueled vehicles were able to be tested by the participants of the event and their benefits and prosperities were highlight in real practice.
