London Transportation agrees on using Android Pay

London transportation invests more in co modality. Transport for London from now on will be the first transport organisation which is going to accept Android Pay as ticket. From now on passengers can use their mobile phone to pay tickets and travel around London. From July 2015 London transportation also accepts Apple Pay. This happens with yellow card readers around stations.

Shashi Verma, Chief Technology Officer & Director of Customer experience feeling great about this good news and says that they worked closely with Google to implement this system to practice.

Since contactless payment was launched on London more than 400 million journeys have been ran. Pay - as - you - go works and in London airports and other locations around London.
